Natural sesame seeds keep their outer husk, which gives them a slightly firmer bite and a fuller, nuttier taste when roasted than hulled seeds. They are also known as til, gingelly, ellu, simsim and nalla nuvvulu.
ARPRIC natural sesame seeds are sourced from India’s main growing regions Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and are machine cleaned and sortex processed by our specialised sesame processing partner before packing. The main harvest runs from February to April.
Microbiological and pesticide-residue parameters are tested as per buyer requirement. Detailed specification sheets are shared before every order.

Natural sesame seeds keep their outer husk. Hulled sesame seeds have the husk removed, which makes them whiter and softer they are preferred for tahini and bakery.
