Black sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum) are oil-rich seeds with a deep black colour and a stronger, slightly more intense flavour than white sesame. They are also known as kala til.
ARPRIC black sesame seeds are sourced from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, then machine cleaned and colour sorted by our specialised sesame processing partner to remove white and off-colour seeds for a uniform deep black appearance.
Microbiological and pesticide-residue parameters are tested as per buyer requirement. Detailed specification sheets are shared before every order.

What is the difference between Regular Black and Super Z Black?
Super Z Black has a deeper black colour, higher purity (99.95%) and lower impurity (0.05% max).
Is black sesame available all year?
It is processed mainly against confirmed orders — please enquire for current lead times.
What packaging is available?
Export packing as per buyer requirement — 25 kg PP bags, 50 kg bags, kraft paper bags with inner liner or jumbo bags, with palletised container loading. All products are packed and sold under the ARPRIC brand.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Trial orders and mixed-container enquiries are welcome. The minimum quantity, product mix and packing are confirmed in your quotation.
How much black sesame seeds fits in one container?
Approximately 19–21 MT per 20ft FCL. This is an indicative range — the actual net weight varies from shipment to shipment with packing format and product density, and is stated in each quotation.

Our normal sesame dispatch target is 7 days after advance payment reaches our account. Confirm grade, availability, packing and any requested tests before payment; your quotation confirms the schedule.
Dispatch is departure from India, not arrival at your destination. Transit time and freight are confirmed separately.

Testing is batch-specific and arranged against the buyer’s requested parameters. Share the destination and required tests before we agree the order; we do not claim blanket destination compliance.
